Shipped to members of the PlayStation Network that signed up for the beta test
in September, 2005, this UMD allowed people to play online with other beta testers to get a
feel for how the multiplayer game would work. I believe this was the first Public Beta Sony conducted.
The disc was shipped in a CD-sized white cardboard envelope.
Hundreds (if not thousands) of these were made and sent out, the purpose was beta testing and stress-testing
the network and the game servers. It only worked online with the beta servers and as such the disc is
completely unplayable now. These aren't really rare or worth much. When I do see them sell (they come up for sale
several times a year at least on eBay), it's usually in the $20-30 range.
